We’re delighted to announce the creation of the Moving Memory Advisory Board, an exciting new initiative that brings together participants from our Moving Well (formally Groovin Well) groups to help shape the future of the company.
The Advisory Board has been established to ensure that the voices, insights, and experiences of older people are placed at the heart of our work. Members will contribute ideas and advice on company plans and programmes, working in collaboration with our Senior Management Team.
The board will:
-
Champion the views of older communities.
-
Provide guidance and feedback on company activities.
-
Recognise and celebrate participants as agents of change.
How it works:
The Moving Memory Advisory Board will meet quarterly, offering regular opportunities for conversation, reflection, and co-design. When appropriate, the board will also report directly to our Board of Trustees.
This initiative marks an important step in strengthening our commitment to co-creation, community engagement, and inclusive practice, and we’re excited to see where this collaborative journey leads.
