A group of older women dance with their hands held out in front of them. A lady with grey hear stands in the centre, smiling and wearing a black Moving Memory t-shirt.

Event Info

Moving Well workshops are led by and for older people, no experience needed. Sessions will build from simple getting-to-know-you activities through to making a short choreography from participants’ own stories and movements.

The sessions are about having fun, loosening up and letting go, celebrating the good stuff of life. All shapes, sizes and levels of mobility welcome.

“It’s liberating!”

Just turn up and say hello or call Sian on 01304 800300 for more info.

Wear comfy clothes you can move in, bare feet or trainers, and bring a bottle of water.

Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, followed by a complimentary 45-minute shared lunch – a warm bowl of soup to relax, refuel and chat together.

Thursdays, 9 April – 23 July
10.30am – 12.30pm
Newington Community Centre, Princess Margaret Avenue, Ramsgate, CT12 6HX

This project is generously supported by Social Enterprise Kent, The Astor Foundation and Cole Charitable Trust
