9 women dressed in frilly white dresses with red rose head dresses, scarves and gloves stare solemnly at the camera and wag their fingers.

Event Info

In order to investigate power, male-dominated society and the status quo, the company are joined by a vibrant group of young performers, stage managers and producers, drawn from Gulbenkian Arts Centre’s youth groups, as well as a 16ft inflatable man

Using their distinctive blend of movement, music and sardonic wit, these women join forces to waltz their way to wisdom in a merry dance around today’s burning political issues — on a mission, quite simply, to save the world.

You will probably never view maypoles in quite the same way again…

Performed at:

  • b0ing! Festival outside Jarman Building, University of Kent, Canterbury
